The SuisseMobile Route no. 593 invites you to discover the true essence of the Pays-d’Enhaut by mountain bike on a stunning loop of around 30 km.
Starting from the village square of Château-d’Œx, you begin with a steady climb along alpine tracks towards the wooded slopes between Château-d’Œx and Rossinière. The ascent is short but immediately immersive.
The following descent leads you through the charming village of Rossinière before continuing gently along the valley floor towards the Sarine river. You then ride past the iconic Pont Turrian and the picturesque hamlet of Gérignoz before reaching Rougemont, renowned for its traditional wooden chalets and authentic character.
To complete the loop, the route climbs slightly along the sunny southern slopes, offering bucolic views over rolling landscapes before bringing you back to Château-d’Œx. This varied itinerary combines climbs, flowing descents and scenic valley sections, ideal for intermediate riders seeking both challenge and panoramic alpine scenery.
