The 28 March 2026
World Dance Festival “Orient’Alp

Over one vibrant weekend, the Pays-d’Enhaut becomes a meeting place for cultures from around the world. The Orient’Alp Festival celebrates dance through performances, workshops and unforgettable shared moments.

On Saturday 28 March, the Orient’Alp Festival offers dance workshops for adults, classes for children and a spectacular World Dance Grand Gala starting at 8:15 pm. For nearly three hours, Swiss and international artists take the audience on a journey through oriental dance, contemporary fusion and rhythms from India, Central Asia, Gypsy traditions and more.
On Sunday 29 March, the festival turns towards imagination and family audiences. After dance workshops at 4:30 pm, the danced storytelling show “The Little Mermaid” invites young and old into a magical underwater world. Through movement and music, the story of a young mermaid unfolds, filled with imaginary waves, magical encounters and heartfelt choices.
