On Thursday 4 June 2026 at 7:30 pm, St Peter’s Anglican Church welcomes the St Salvator’s Chapel Choir for the opening concert of its tour, blending English choral tradition with musical emotion.

A breath of music from Scotland comes to Château-d’Œx. On Thursday 4 June 2026, the St Salvator’s Chapel Choir, an emblematic ensemble of the University of St Andrews, opens its tour at St Peter’s Anglican Church. Founded in 1413, the university carries on a rich musical tradition, of which this mixed choir of around twenty-five students is one of today’s finest ambassadors.
Conducted by Claire Innes-Hopkins, the choir invites you on a journey through several centuries of English choral music. The programme includes works by Vaughan Williams, Walton, Tallis and Chilcott, ranging from early polyphony to luminous harmonies and more contemporary compositions. A rare opportunity to hear an internationally renowned vocal ensemble in the Pays-d’Enhaut, in the intimate and welcoming atmosphere of St Peter’s Church. Admission is free, with a collection at the end.
