Land of Children Festival

A unique family event, the Festival au Pays des Enfants offers street entertainment, indoor shows, fun workshops and games for all ages. For 5 days in the summer, Château-d’Œx is the children’s capital!

Every summer for 5 days, Château-d'Œx is transformed into a children's paradise. The five-day programme includes free workshops for children, as well as street entertainment and a wide choice of ticketed shows in theatres and marquees. This is your chance to learn how to make kites, perform circus tricks or play the djembe or hang, all free of charge. As for the shows, different performances will be on offer to visitors each day, six of them at family prices, unchanged since the festival began precisely 13 years ago.

One of the permanent attractions, much appreciated by festival-goers, will be the giant 240-metre zip line, which will be back in action, departing from the Temple de Château-d'Oex and landing at the back of the football pitch. Thrills guaranteed. The treasure hunt will continue to delight young and old alike.

The programme for the next edition will be available in spring 2025.
