<p>On 8 and 9 August 2026, discover alpine traditions in the heart of the Pays-d’Enhaut during Au Pays de L’Etivaz. This summer event invites visitors to enjoy a scenic walk, meet local producers and taste regional specialties.</p>
A walk through alpine landscapes
Starting from the Caves de L’Etivaz, a scenic and accessible walk takes visitors through the Torneresse valley, surrounded by alpine meadows, forests and traditional mountain pastures.
Depending on the route chosen, the walk lasts between 1 and 2.5 hours, not including stops and activities along the way.
Discover traditional craftsmanship
Along the route, several stops introduce visitors to alpine life and local traditions. Farmers and producers share their knowledge and demonstrate how the famous L’Etivaz AOP cheese is made over a wood fire in mountain chalets.
Workshops and demonstrations also highlight nature, mountain animals and the biodiversity of alpine pastures.
Local flavours and festive atmosphere
Throughout the walk, visitors can enjoy regional specialties such as cheese tastings, grilled dishes and freshly baked treats from the traditional bread oven.
Music and family-friendly activities create a lively and welcoming atmosphere in the heart of the mountains.
