<p>This summer in Rossinière, the village turns into a feline art kingdom : an open-air exhibition where creative cat sculptures enchant visitors of all ages.</p>
From June 6 to September 12 2026, The Kingdom of Cats transforms the charming village of Rossinière into an open-air gallery, with nearly 100 cat creations crafted by professionals, students and families displayed throughout the streets and old barns. Inspired by the famous painter Balthus, who lived in Rossinière and adored cats, the exhibition invites visitors to wander through the village and admire works in wood, metal and fabric. Throughout the summer, visitors can vote for their favourite cat, which will be crowned “King of Cats” at the closing ceremony, complete with the presentation of the sceptre.
