Exhibition “Poyas and Other Works” by Willy Läng

This autumn, the cafeteria of Château-d’Œx Hospital becomes an exhibition space inviting visitors to discover the artistic world of Willy Läng. A self-taught painter based in Château-d’Œx, the artist draws his inspiration from the landscapes, rural life and traditions that shape the identity of the Pays-d’Enhaut.

Among his favourite subjects are poyas, the traditional representations of herds making their way up to the alpine pastures. Through his paintings, Willy Läng offers a personal interpretation of this alpine heritage and the scenes that characterise life in the region.

The exhibition “Poyas and Other Works” presents a selection of his creations and offers an opportunity to explore his artistic world at your own pace. An artistic interlude celebrating the connection between painting, mountains and local traditions.
