Conference : Animal, Rethinking Our Relationship with the Living World
<p>What if we reconsidered our place among other species? Through Cyril Dion’s film Animal and a discussion with the audience, this evening invites us to reflect on our relationship with the living world.</p>
How can we better understand the ecological crisis and imagine a different relationship with the living world? In Animal, filmmaker Cyril Dion follows Bella and Vipulan, two 16-year-olds who set out to meet people working to halt the decline in biodiversity. Their journey questions our place among other species and opens up new perspectives on the way we inhabit the world.
After the screening at CinEden in Château-d’Œx, the evening will continue with a discussion with the audience. François Margot, a member of Grandparents for Climate and former director of the Park, will moderate the conversation. A wonderful opportunity to share thoughts, questions and ideas for action around our relationship with the living world.

Free admission, no registration required.<br /><strong>Access</strong></p> <p>CinEden is around a 5-minute walk from Château-d’Œx railway station. Paid parking is available nearby.<br /><strong>Public transport</strong></p> <p>For the outward journey, connections are scheduled from Bulle at 5.50 pm, Montreux at 5.43 pm and Rougemont at 6.44 pm. For the return journey, trains leave Château-d’Œx at 10.04 pm for Bulle and Montreux, and at 10.02 pm for Rougemont. Timetables are indicative and may change.</p>
