August 1st Swiss National Day in L’Etivaz
<p>In L’Etivaz, Swiss National Day is celebrated in a festive and friendly atmosphere. A sweet pie competition, entertainment, food, the official ceremony and fireworks make for a memorable day in the heart of the village.</p>
On 1 August, L’Etivaz comes alive with a day dedicated to sharing, local traditions and community spirit. Residents and visitors gather throughout the day to celebrate Swiss National Day in a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
From 3:00 pm onwards, the festivities begin with musical entertainment, family-friendly activities and a sweet pie competition open to everyone. This gourmet event highlights local baking talents and adds a delicious touch to the celebration.
In the early evening, the traditional burger evening brings together young and old for a convivial moment. The festive atmosphere continues until the official ceremony, which marks the highlight of the National Day celebrations.
At 9:00 pm, the official ceremony is followed by a fireworks display that lights up the sky above L’Etivaz and brings the festivities to a spectacular close.
