Built in the 18th century and brought back into operation for the village\u2019s 900th anniversary celebrations, this emblematic heritage site comes alive during school holidays thanks to the dedication of passionate volunteers.<\/p>\n<p>Every Wednesday, the aroma of wood-fired baking fills the village streets. Visitors can order organic wood-fired bread, an authentic sourdough loaf made by La Marendaz using organic flour from the Pays-d\u2019Enhaut, milled at Le Moulin des Moulins. The tarts are also prepared using an organic pastry dough made by La Marendaz.<\/p>\n<p>Savoury options include quiche Lorraine, pizza, onion tart and cheese tart, while those with a sweet tooth can enjoy cream, apricot or pear tarts. New recipes and specialties are regularly introduced throughout the season, inspired by local ingredients and the creativity of the volunteer team.
